Verbal & Oral
From 'Vocabulary' part of The ABC Of Plain Words by Sir E Gowers (1951)

Some authorities hold that "verbal means 'couched in words', spoken or written as the case may be, and is not synonymous with oral, 'delivered by word of mouth'. It would no doubt be convenient if this were so, for it would make for greater precision of language. But it is not: there is ample authority for the common use of verbal to distinguish the spoken word from the written.
