Theophilus

According to all the keys, Gabriel de Roquette, Bishop of Autun; an ambitious intriguer, 'all sugar and honey' according to Saint-Simon, and generally supposed to have suggested Molière's Tartuffe. He had tried to attach himself to the exiled King and Queen of England.
