There does not appear to be in the 'Rape of the Lock' any double rhyme which is not common in other portions of Pope's writings; and it is hard to see on what ground Johnson would have pronounced 'unsuccessful' the rhyme in the lines —
'But clear thy wrinkled brow and quit thy sorrow,
I'd scorn your prentice should you die tomorrow Wife of Bath, 1. 124.
