Eustace Budgell

A cousin of Addison's, was probably always eccentric, but after he lost most of his money in South Sea stock his behavior became more and more extravagant. In 1733 he was accused of forging the will of Dr. Matthew Tindal, and in his last years he was involved in numerous lawsuits which he defended unsuccessfully himself.
